2021 Aftermath Sauvignon Blanc
The 2021 Aftermath Sauvignon Blanc opens with abundant aromatics of Granny Smith apple, flint, white peach and a touch of passionfruit and white honeysuckle. Rich and enveloping on entry, the weighty mid-palate exudes sweet key lime pie and ripe citrus but with a piercing frame of wet stone and acid. The wine closes at length with notes of fresh brioche and a hint of Meyer lemon.
2017 Aftermath Sauvignon Blanc
The 2017 Aftermath Sauvignon Blanc is quite similar to the 2016 vintage, with a tropical fruit nose. There are, however, a few subtle differences. The grapes were picked when they were less ripe than the prior year, resulting in slightly higher acidity. 70% of the final blend was aged in neutral oak, so that the resulting wine is more typical of Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc.
