Aftermath Sauvignon Blanc

This is an absolutely delicious wine. In the glass the wine is a pale yellow/gold with flashes of shimmering green.  On the nose the initial presentation is crisp green apple and key lime.  Those flavors persist upon sipping, where the wine also displays a flinty minerality.  The mid-palate and finish are fuller, with a hint of apple strudel.  The wine remains energetic and balanced throughout.  We produced a miniscule 85 cases

The 2021 Aftermath Sauvignon Blanc opens with abundant aromatics of Granny Smith apple, flint, white peach and a touch of passionfruit and white honeysuckle.  Rich and enveloping on entry, the weighty mid-palate exudes sweet key lime pie and ripe citrus but with a piercing frame of wet stone and acid.  The wine closes at length with notes of fresh brioche and a hint of Meyer lemon.
